NBA Betting Guide: Moneyline, Totals and Props
I ticket the NBA as a nightly board. Back-to-backs matter. Live is a second pass.
The official NBA guide walks moneyline, totals, player props, and a live framework. I keep that stack. I do not invent a 2026 title price.
Moneyline and spread
Moneyline is who wins. Spread is by how much. I use moneyline when I like the name and the price is still a price. I use spread when the favourite is too short and the story is about a margin.
Totals
A total is a pace bet dressed as points. I look at how the two sides run, who is out on the glass, and whether the game is the second night of a back-to-back. Tired legs kill totals more often than a tweet does.
Player props
A prop is a player night. I want minutes, usage, and the matchup. I skip a prop when the only story is a headline. I do not stack four props on one name and call it research.
Live
Live is patience. The first run is loud. I wait for the timeout and the adjusted total. Stream delay is real. I do not bet a live dunk I just watched on a delayed feed.
How I place it
- Open housebets.com and log in, or register if you are new.
- Deposit the coin you already hold. Check the network on the cashier before you send.
- Open Sports, pick the competition, then open the market you actually want.
- Stake only what you can lose. Walk away if the board is moving faster than you can read it.
- Open Basketball, then the night. One moneyline or one total. A prop only if I can name the minutes.
